JJ Watt shocked the NFL on Monday by choosing to go to Arizona over places such as Green Bay or Cleveland. He is reuniting with former teammate Deandre Hopkins but no real reason was given. The Cardinals haven't made the playoffs in years and I don't think Watt's 6 sacks per year at 23 million guaranteed over the next two seasons are enough to get them over the edge; But Kyler is headed into his third season and a full offseason with Hopkins so he'll get better. They also get Chandler Jones back from a torn pectoral, but they lost Patrick Peterson this offseason which makes their secondary fairly suspect this upcoming season. We'll see what free agency brings to the table but as it stands the Cardinals are set for another mediocre season. Maybe sneak into the playoffs, but they don't pose a threat at this time.
