Panthers Rebuild

Carolina flat out sucked this year and there is no way around it. They swung big last year in the draft and have become a laughing stock through it. Small recap; They traded DJ Moore and 2 first round picks for the right to draft Bryce Young first overall, passing on CJ Stroud who will be the Offensive rookie of the year and took Houston to the divisional round, while Bryce looked terrible all year going 2-14 as a starter. All this led to Carolina having to give the first pick this year to Chicago, firing their head coach 11 games into the season, firing their GM in January, and no success in sight. The David Tepper era has been awful.

As for moves they could make this offseason to try and turn it around, let's take a look.

Coaching: They must hire a offensive minded head coach, that is non-negotiable.

Free Agency: Resigning Brian Burns has to be a priority since they kept him over DJ Moore. There are also a lot of talented wide outs set to hit the market this year, including names like Mike Evans, Calvin Ridley and Tee Higgins. Carolina must sign a veteran wide receiver this offseason to help out Bryce Young. They also need to snag a tackle through free agency, my pick would be former Cowboys LT Tyron Smith, but who knows what his price tag would be.

Draft: They could look into trading back into the first round, but if they don't, they still pick first in the second round. Which, in this wide receiver rich draft is actually he perfect spot to be. Sure, you aren't getting the star WR but you are getting a super solid talent for a smaller salary hit and lower expectations. As for the later rounds they have to go defense, more for depth, but defense none the less.

Trades: They have been taken advantage of for years now through trades, so lets not.

Also, CHANGE THE PRIMARY HELMETS TO BLACK!
