Something has clicked in Miami, their offense is playing better, their special teams is playing better and their defense is playing like close with the best of the league. Javon Holland is having a rookie of the year type season. Xavien Howard and Byron Jones are playing up to their lofty contracts. Rousseau is playing lights out on the D-line that’s full of talent all of a sudden. The defensive play calling by Brian Flores and Josh Boyer has also been out of this world. The blitz techniques and coverage schemes are something out of a video game. The offense has found their way as well. Tua is finally getting protected, and Waddle is breaking barriers by getting his first 100-yard game. Gesicki has fallen out of the offense but for the right reasons, he isn’t getting force fed anymore. The Lindsey signing will take pressure off a bad running back in Myles Gaskin. Oh, and Devonte Parker is going to be healthy by weeks end. All this being said, Miami has found themselves back in the playoff hunt.
