Today the Patriots resigned Cam Newton. They're bringing him back after a lackluster season and the helm, but a full offseason training program and a full roster to work with will help his production. Last season the Patriots had a league high in opt-outs per covid-19 and they are all expected back. Dont'a Hightower being the biggest piece as the Quarterback of the defense, him paired with Patrick Chung who is also returning will sure up the abysmal run defense. Tying all that together with what they will use their cap for equals another winning season for the Patriots. As we all know Cam is past his prime but is still an above average quarterback and deserves a starting job in the NFL. Look for the Patriots to compete this year for a title and for Cam to possibly win the Comeback player of the year award.
