This offseason has loads of talent at the receiver position but no one seems to be grabbing one, it isn't like there's not a clear number one guy. That guy is Kenny Golladay, a clear cut number one guy that'll catch the ball. There is even a few other studs behind him with the likes of Juju Smith-Schuster and Will Fuller V, with the latter having a one game suspension to serve. I look at these guys and think why has no one jumped at the opportunity for a big name wide receiver. We've seen the smaller name guys go to places like Marvin Jones Jr to Jacksonville or AJ Green to Arizona and although they could have big seasons in those places they aren't number ones. When you take a set back and look at the bigger picture this just isn't the year to pay a receiver, it's the year to draft one. This years draft is littered with talent at the position and unless your team has a no doubt wide receivers core they'd be fools not to draft one even in the 6th round. With the skill level in the draft I wouldn't be surprised if ten or twelve guys go in the first two rounds, starting with none other than Devonta Smith the reigning Heisman winner and closely followed by Ja'Marr Chase out of LSU. So if your team is lacking at the position, be patient, they'll get someone.
