Who Will Be The Next Head Coach Of The New York Giants?

The New York Giants haven’t been good for quite some time now. You can blame management all you want but it comes down to the product on the field and Joe Judge’s product that he has put on the field has been one of the worst in league history despite not having the worst record in either year he was the head coach. He went 10-23 in his 33 games and failed to post a winning record at any point of his tenure. Judge has been fired so here my top 5 candidates for the job.

5. Todd Bowles, with the defense being a huge issue for the team it would be smart to bring in a defensive minded head coach. Bowles has coached in New York before and knows how to handle the New York media, although it was with the Jets. Bowles led the Bucs to a top 5 defense each of the last two seasons.

4. Brian Flores, a top pick for most teams but sits fourth for the Giants since the reports say he wants a lot of control and the Mara’s don’t like to give that out to non-proven commodities. Flores, like owles would help the defense tremendously but would need to find an offensive coordinator willing to take over that bad offense.

3. Jim Harbaugh, he isn’t confirmed to be returning to the NFL but is a proven guy that the Mara’s crave. He would be the ‘savior’ type guy the Giants have been looking for since Tom Coughlin retired.

2. Eric Bieniemy, offense is the main concern for the Giants so why not bring in the most versatile offensive coach in recent years. The hardest part of hiring Bieniemy would be prying him away from the Chiefs in who he could be the successor to Andy Reid once he retires.

1. Brian Daboll, the odds-on favorite to land the job and the best fit. He has helped Josh Allen develop from a raw college guy into a perennial MVP candidate. If the Giants decide to keep Daniel Jones, Daboll would be the perfect guy to ‘fix’ Jones and help this offense become something special.
