Last night there was a leaked trade between New England and Green Bay centered around Jordan Love, the first round quarterback the Packers took in last years draft. The future per say was never going to be Cam Newton, he's getting up there in age and his body is starting to give out on him. The soon to be 32 year old quarterback signed a one year incentive laced deal with New England worth up to $14 million. Jordan Love isn't the answer either and the details of the trade haven't been released, let alone if its true or not. The smart thing for New England to do would be to take one of the many "project" quarterbacks in this draft, maybe a Kellen Mond or Ian Book, a quarterback they can hold onto and groom. Try to get the Tom Brady 2.0 if you will. If I'm the Patriots I'm not trading for Love after the backlash on social media and I'm letting the quarterback I signed run the show for one more year.
