Speedster on the Move

Tyreek Hill was traded today by the Kansas City Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes has lost his deep threat and screen guy, and the Dolphins paired him with other speedster Jaylon Waddle. Early on the Dolphins clearly win this trade but the Chiefs will need to use those draft picks before we can crown the winner.

On the Miami side, it was a steal. Hill can take 2 yard slants to the house and take the top off defense just like Waddle. Spacing on the field when both guys are out there will be phenomenal. Gesicki will be able to sit in the middle of the field and just catch every pass or Edmunds will be able to break through a light defensive front. Either way, as long as Tua can get it there the Dolphins will be a team to fear.

On the Kansas City side, are you regretting that Mahomes deal yet? It was obviously the reason that the Chiefs couldn't sign Hill, the Money just won't work. And Chiefs fans can blame Las Vegas for resetting the wide receiver market by paying Adams so much money. What will they going to be able to do with Juju Smith-Schuster coming off an knee injury, Mecole Hardman who only runs go routes, and Clyde Edwards-Helaire who needs a booster seat? Sure, you can just ride Kelce until the wheels fall off but is that worth having no offense otherwise. The trade raises a ton of questions for the Chiefs and it is a deep WR draft, so we will need to revisit this trade after the draft.
