The Patriots have been active this week. Yesterday’s trade of Sony Michel came to a shock to some, but the stars were aligning for this to happen. The Pats backfield was getting crowded with the emergence of Rhamondre Stevenson, a 2021 fourth round pick out of Oklahoma. Not to mention Damien Harris and James White taking the bulk of the snaps. As for Sony’s new home in LA, he’ll be getting the majority of the snaps in the Rams backfield. Cam Akers is out for the season and Darrell Henderson got hurt this week with the severity unknown. The trade works for both team as the Pats receive some late round picks in next years draft while the Rams get a real work horse behind Matthew Stafford. If I had to assume that Henderson will be out for a significant time, Michel will be a good fill in for the season and record a 1,000 yard season.
