As it stands at 4pm on Wednesday the 26th of May both of the 5 seeds hold leads over the 4 seeds. In the East the Hawks have a 1-0 lead over the Knicks and look to take a 2-0 lead tonight. Julius Randle had a poor shooting performance in game 1 on Sunday and really looks to turn that around tongiht against the Hawks. Madison Square Garden was silenced by Trae Young after "F*** Trae Young" chants filled the Garden, Young won the game for the Hawks with a 7' floater in the paint with 0.7 seconds on the clock. I expect tonight to be another battle but for the Knicks to take game 2 and tie the series 1-1. In the West the Mavericks have a strangling 2-0 hold over the Clippers after taking the first two games in Los Angeles. Sure the Clippers might not have the same attendance rules as New York or Texas teams do but in both games there was only two things to get hyped about so far in this series. One being Kawhi Leonards explosive dunk over Maxi Kleber in game 1 and two being Paul George crossing Kristaps Porzingis leading to a layup. The only problem with those two plays was that the Clippers were down by 4+ points for both instances. The Mavericks aren't going to win the West, I'm sure of that, but we can count out the Clippers making a run this year. For a team that tanked the end of their season to not match up with the Lakers, losing to the Mavs might be more embarrassing.
