The NFL has been shaken up a week before the start of the new league year. Earlier today Aaron Rodgers signed a record-breaking deal with Green Bay. The QBs contract will be a 4-year $200 million deal, a deal that will make him the highest paid player in NFL history. The move shakes up free agency in the fact that Denver now needs a QB after we all thought that Rodgers would end up there and the rest will fall into place. Well as it turns out the Broncos don’t need a QB anymore. Denver had been working and negotiating a trade for Russell Wilson that was completed today. The deal will send Noah Fant, Shelby Harris, Drew Lock, their next 2 first round picks, their next 2 second round picks and a fifth round pick to Seattle for Russell Wilson and a fourth round pick. The deal actually seems fair for both sides although Seattle will now start their rebuild. If Drew Lock is in their future plans they have a head start but if he isn’t you can expect the Seahawks to package picks to move up to select a QB, maybe Malik Willis out of Liberty. The offseason has begun and the transactions will start piling in from here on out, so buckle up!
