Most Valuable Player:
Tom Brady, QB Buccaneers; the 44-year-old is arguably having his best season behind that stunning offensive line and before the bye week had the most passing yards on the season. Oh and he is on pace to break his personal record for touchdowns (50) from his historic 2007 season.
Offensive Player of the Year:
Cooper Kupp, WR Rams; before Henry got hurt it was him but Kupp is on pace for the most yards for a receiver in NFL history, and could break the 2,000 yard bench mark for the first time.
Defensive Player of the Year:
Myles Garrett, DE Browns; this is clear and obvious but for those who think Diggs from Dallas should win this award you should look at his coverage grade that sits lower that 75%.
Offensive Rookie of the Year:
Rashawn Slater, OT Chargers; not the sexy pick but the right pick. Ja’Marr Chase is having a great season but is only favored to win this award because he plays a flashy position, Slater has been the real deal in LA and has the lowest sack rate among eligible Tackles.
Defensive Rookie of the Year:
Micah Parsons, LB Cowboys; Parsons plays everywhere and seems to be in on every tackle on the field. He flies around the field like a force of nature and when Lawrence comes back Parsons will start seeing less blockers and could show out even more.
Comeback Player of the Year:
Dak Prescott, QB Cowboys; after the gruesome leg injury last season people thought he would not look the same as before and they were right, but for the wrong reasons, he is playing some of the best football he’s played and has the Cowboys sitting at 6-2.
