Lets Get Acquainted

The MLB has introduced the Universal DH rule. Allowing the National League to use designated hitters and tainting the sanctity of the NL. Anyways, here are all the "new DH's" in the National League.

NL East

Nationals: Nelson Cruz, the old guy everyone knows for playing DH in the AL signed with the Nats as soon as the position was available.

Marlins: Jesus Aguilar, with a career BA of .317 this guy can hit, but will it be enough for Miami to win.

Phillies: Kyle Schwarber, ever since his ACL tear in early 2016 he has been a hindrance in the field, so this makes complete sense.

Mets: Robinson Cano, sure his Yankee days are long gone but his bat still has plenty of pop.

Braves: Marcell Ozuna, assuming his legal battles are behind him the once greater hitter will no longer have to play in the outfield, thank God.

NL Central

Cardinals: Albert Pujols, Mr. double play himself is back and will not need to play first base to be in the lineup.

Cubs: Patrick Wisdom, if the term 'pure hitter' was in the dictionary Wisdom's picture would be the only definition.

Reds: Jesse Winker, 2021 breakout star but his fielding could have used some work.

Pirates: Daniel Vogelbach, not much of a runner, but Vogelbach can hit moonshots.

Brewers: Andrew McCutchen, Cutch used to be the fastest guy around but injuries and age have slowed him down a bit.

NL West

Rockies: Charlie Blackmon, his weak arm and the signing of Kris Bryant allows him to just focus on hitting the baseball.

Giants: Darin Ruf, with Brandon Belt's return there was a question on how Ruf would break the lineup but then the DH appeared.

Dodgers: Max Muncy, the signing of Freddie Freeman moves him away from first base and into the DH slot.

Diamondbacks: Seth Beer, the youngest of all the guys here but could be great as he has only appeared in 5 games.

Padres: Luke Voit, the longtime first baseman gets to focus on what he is best at. I would have put Tatis here because of the enormous amount of Errors he commits, but oh well.
