Kansas City Savior

If you read my Game Review article from Tuesday (if you haven't you should) you would already know who I'm talking about. That guy is Melvin Ingram, a player who couldn't find a place in Pittsburgh on a very talented defensive line. Pittsburgh cut Ingram after thy couldn't find a trade partner at the deadline and after his release the Chiefs signed him almost immediately. the signing allows Chris Jones, a monster 6 foot 6 Defensive Tackle, to play his natural position in the middle. You could argue that this week against Dallas was Jones' best game of his career recording 3.5 sacks against the number one offensive team in the NFL. The disruption these two are causing in the backfield has made the other defenders better as well, linebacker Willie Gay Jr has been huge in the last two games leading the team in total tackles over that stretch. The secondary has improved as well with Sneed playing better than ever in his second season and Daniel Sorenson being able to play help coverage instead of pure coverage. All that being said, KC is back to form and if Mahomes can turn it up like he has in past years at this time they should be the favorites to win the Superbowl.
