Julio Jones finally got traded away from the Atlanta Falcons to the Tennessee Titans. After years of being in the trade rumors Atlanta sends Julio away for essentially nothing, that nothing is a Second and a fourth round pick. The full trade also includes Atlanta sending a sixth round pick along with the talented receiver. The Falcons have been fleeced in this deal according to public opinion, but in reality they weren't. Obviously we don't know how good Kyle Pitts is but without Julio there he has the chance to grow and become something worthy of the fourth overall selection. It also allows Calvin Ridley to take over the WR1 position in which he was drafted for. On the Titans side they sure feel like they won the trade because they got the best part of the trade which is Julio Jones but that second round pick could loom large with their defense being as bad as it is. Last season the Titans were ranked 24th in defense efficiency and close to last in yards allowed. I can only assume that their strategy is to outscore the opposing offenses and not have to rely on their defense.
