Game 3 in the NBA playoffs might be the most important non-elimination game in the playoffs, for the lower seed that is. Game 3 marks the first home game of the series for the lower seed and if you lost the first two games it's a game you need to win. Not only has a team never come back from a 3-0 deficit but you only get three games at home if the series goes to seven games. The mantra is that a series doesn't start until someone wins one on the road, tonight the Heat have a chance to bring the series to a 2-1 deficit at home against the Bucks after that the Nuggets look to steal one back from the Trail Blazers in Portland after they took game 1 in Denver. The Lakers also have the opposite opportunity that is they lost game 1 in Phoenix and took game 2 in Phoenix and look to take game 3 at home against the Suns to take a 2-1 series lead. Friday the Clippers look to take game 3 against the Mavericks in Dallas to get back into the series. The most intriguing Game 3 plays out Saturday night between the number 8 seed Memphis Grizzlies and the number 1 seed Utah Jazz as the series shifts to Memphis the 8th seed looks to take a 2-1 series lead against the best team in the West. And finally Ja Morant might be the best player in that series!
