Extension for Robby

Robby Anderson signed a two year extension to stay in Carolina. The extension will pay Robby 14.5 million dollars over each of the next two seasons. People forget that he and DJ Moore both had 1,000+ yard seasons last year with Teddy Bridgewater at QB. Robby is a huge part of Carolina's offense and now he is being paid like it. This signing doesn't necessarily make the Panthers any better this year but helps their chances at competing sooner rather than later. This year Sam Darnold will be their starting QB and he has played with Anderson before, except last time didn't go so well. Robby had a down year and Darnold had no protection back in New York. Hopefully the Panthers have enough protection to help Darnold live up to that number 3 pick, but who knows..
