49ers: San Francisco for some reason kept everyone in the dark of who they would be taking at the 3rd pick when the first two picks were already locked in. They ended up taking Trey Lance over Mac Jones which was a fantastic choice for them, however I think Justin Fields will be the best QB in this draft and he was available. We also don't know how good Kyle Shanahan is picking QB's. Sure he has had success in Washington and Atlanta as the Offensive Coordinator and coached a Jimmy Garoppolo led team to the Superbowl, but lets be honest that defense and running game led that team there not Jimmy. They did draft a guard to help protect whichever QB starts next year and for years to come, that being Aaron Banks from Notre Dame. The 9ers also have had the best running attack in the NFL and took two runningbacks to help keep that going. (Trey Serman and Elijah Mitchell) Overall Grade: A
Cardinals: The Cardinals clearly had a hole at cornerback but they think signing Malcom Butler solves that and that let that pass on Caleb Farley and take Zaven Collins. Collins and Davis were the two guys everyone slotted in after Micah Parsons in this years linebacker class, Davis being more raw, so taking Collins here was smart and effective and could pair nicely with Isaiah Simmons, but passing on Farley might come back to haunt them. In the second round they took a guy I really like in Rondale Moore who is a small slot receiver who could be the next Larry Fitzgerald for them. They were able to address the corner position on day three drafting Marco Wilson and Tay Gowen. These guys are not exactly pro ready but could be useful in a long season. Overall Grade: A-
Rams: The Rams did not have a first round pick but still got a top receiver in Tutu Atwell out of Louisville, A great stretch the field guy which Stafford will use a lot. The next few picks were defensive heavy which is good considering they are still in a hangover phase from their Superbowl run. A guy I like later in their draft is Robert Rochell out of Central Arkansas, a ballhawk type corner who has a nose for the ball but gets beat sometimes, a guy like that can learns loads from Jalen Ramsey and could turn the corner and become a starter. Overall Grade: B-
Seahawks: Seattle traded their first pick for Jamal Adams from the Jets and might have overspent a bit on him, but that is for another day. They had a league low 3 picks in this years draft and tried to make the most out of them. Their first pick was D'Wayne Eskridge a receiver from Wester Michigan, a speedy guy but doesn't seem to fit into their depth chart early this offseason. Their next pick was in the fourth round and the took CB Tre Brown from Oklahoma who might be thrown into the fire this season due to depth at the position. Their final pick came in the sixth round where they took Stone Forsythe who is a six foot nine Left Tackle who protected Kyle Trask's blindside pretty well. Stone wasn't highly touted out of Florida but is a physical specimen at a position full of huge guys. Overall Grade: B+
