Draft Grades (NFC North)

Lions: Detroit got a stud in Penei Sewell no doubt about it the rest of the draft however, that is where I question their drafting ability. Levi Onwuzurike a defensive tackle out of Washington and Alim Mcneill a defensive tackle out of NC State probably won't see the field together this season but they could grow into a nice duo for years to come. Finally Amon-Ra St. Brown a receiver from USC will likely become their number one receiver and is a sleeper in dynasty fantasy leagues. Overall Grade: B-

Vikings: They were able to trade back from 13 to 23 with the Jets and still get who they wanted in Christian Darrisaw a young guard who will anchor that below average O-line. Minnesota decided to look to the future in the third round and pick QB Kellen Mond out of Texas A&M, a project QB but formitable none the less. Patrick Jones II will get some time on the field this season and produce as well as Kene Nwangwu a RB who could see time as the 3rd down back. Overall Grade: A-

Bears: Chicago, you got your quarterback! The only team in history without a 4,000 yard passer finally gets a guy who is capable. It took some capital to move up to with New York to 11 but it should all be worth it if Justin Fields finds the field in 2021. To go along with their brand new QB they selected a shiny new left tackle with their selection of Teven Jenkins. In the sixth round they took two guys I think could make a difference in RB Khalil Herbert who could see the field if Tarik Cohen is ready to go and WR Dazz Newsome who is a speedy, stretch the field kind of guy. Overall Grade A++

Packers: The news of the day came from Green Bay, that news being Rodgers wants out. The QB claims he doesn't get the help he deserves from the front office and last year proved that when they selected two backup players in Jordan Love and AJ Dillon. This year they neglected again to get him help and took CB Eric Stokes out of Georgia. In the third round they did take a receiver but a raw one, Amari Rodgers out of Clemson who ran four routes in his collegiate career is supposed to be the saving grace. Overall Grade: C-
