Broncos: Denver had a tricky draft to grade considering some things outside of the draft. Those things being quarterbacks they have their eyes on. (Teddy and Rodgers) With the 9th pick they selected Patrick Surtain II, arguably the best corner in this class, but they passed on Justin Fields which makes you believe they think their are set at the quarterback position. In the second round they picked my favorite runningback in this class in Javonte Williams. Williams can be a day one starter and contribute. Overall Grade: B-
Chargers: With their future at quarterback set the Chargers have decided to give Herbert all-star level protection. At 13 they pick Rashawn Slater, the number two tackle in this class. They also got some weapons in the third round with wideout Josh Palmer and tight end Tre' McKitty. In the second round they got a steal with Asante Samuel Jr who will replace Casey Hayward who just signed with Las Vegas. Overall Grade: A-
Raiders: The Raiders reached, plain and simple. Alex Leatherwood the tackle out of Alabama would have been there at 43 but they took him at 17. They then got lucky and picked Trevon Moehrig who I had going at 20. However they took a safety in three straight rounds which is strange. I believed the Raiders needed secondary help but three safeties doesn't give enough diversity among positions. Overall Grade: B
Chiefs: Kansas City traded away their first round selection for Orlando Brown Jr which is a win. In the second round their first selection was Nick Bolton, linebacker out of Missouri, who could start day one. In the same round they selected Creed Humphrey a center out of Oklahoma to try and bolster their offensive line. In round six they selected a very intriguing player in Cornell Powell, he is a wideout that played at Clemson. His speed is similar to their old runningback Damian Williams and could take over the role of MeCole Hardman which is a crucial part of Kansas City's offense. Overall Grade: B+
