The thought that Aaron Rodgers fell off a cliff after an MVP season is baffling and improbable. Sure the Saints are a good team and that defense has been top 10 in recent years but they don’t do that to MVP’s. Aaron had his worst game of his career, but I think something more cynical happened here. He did it on purpose to send a message to Green Bay’s management. Aaron knows with the new 17 game season one game won’t make or break this Green Bay team, so he devised a plan. The Packers are a great football team from coaching to kicking but their leader doesn’t want to be there. I wouldn’t put it past Aaron to go out next Monday night and lose to the Lions. That would suggest something to the management that something is wrong and could prompt them to trade Aaron for the right price. Something I’d love to see.
