Since the Bengals play the Jaguars tonight, I decided to write on how good they seem to be. They are first in the AFC North with a tiebreaker, but they are just getting started. Sophomore QB Joe Burrow has really come into his own after a rough injury last season. He has also had to deal with an abysmal O-line, who in all fairness gave up zero sacks this past week against Pittsburgh. The Bengals have acquired some young talent at the wide receiver position. Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd being the core. Their defense has stepped up recently as well and the questionable acquisition of Trey Hendrickson has proven doubters wrong in every game this season. Not only have they improved, but their division has also gotten considerably worse with the decline of Big Ben and the Injury riddled Ravens. That leaves the door wide open for Cleveland and Cincinnati. Tonight, the matchup between the two most recent number one picks commences. I think Trevor Lawrence isn’t showing he can lead his underwhelming team to a victory over a quality opponent, so I suspect the Bengals win in a blowout.
